The Last of the Fraud Dux Drama: Criminal Mentality, Slander, Harassment, Threats & Running from the

So Frank Dux has fallen silent... for now. No doubt plotting how to have someone kill Don Roley or I, now. No doubt, still trying to slander my name in some other form or, quietly trying to figure out how to twist the truth & pepper it with lies. Frank Dux started off telling me of his elaborate plan to distance himself from me, in case I killed Roley or his family, in my last Blog. Frank Dux: Hiding Behind the BDFS name & Spreading Lies to cover up His Lies...

Yes, that makes him an accessory before the fact & implicates him in a criminal act... Even though I have adamantly stated "I never threatened Roley's family" and I have no intent to harm them. This still places a spotlight over Dux's actions and activity. He is shown to distance himself from an criminal act of violence in attempt to protect himself but, not the wife and children of a rival or detractor. Let that sink in...

Let it sink in, that Frank W. Dux, was more concerned being involved in the crime of murder then in actually stopping someone he allegedly believed would harm a woman and a child..? Course Dux, knew I would never do such thing, it was all his way of avoiding the fact that he made some pretty "out there" statements; statements like those on the Frank Dux exposed Defending those who Call Him a Fraud.
Who the hell, says shit like this..? A mentally disturbed moron without a clue and trying to sound like a super powerful, deep state crime lord... Dux has cops and lawyers coming after me. He has nothing but his own delusional mind and fantasies about being a bad ass...
Dux even went so far as to say this to me;

And guess what I asked one of those, whom Dux claims will say all this about me... Who are willing to tell their story.

Dux has since asked claim a said some racially disparaging remarks about Grandmaster Miskel & warning me not to seek him out... So I did & Grandmaster Miskel is fine with me... I have even posted images of my DD214 showing Dux that I was Honorably Discharged & that I was "Stop Lossed" by the Government.
Which shows I received an Honorable Discharge:

I have posted my Awards Paperwork for Teaching my own Hand-to-Hand Combat System in the Army, being a Team Leader & winning multiple Fireteam and Individual Competitions. Can Dux, prove he contributed anything to the Navy Spec Warfare Manual? No... Its a Classified Document...
So my rather, uneventful Military Career resulted in these few accomplishments... I am about to sue the State of West Virginia for $25 million dollars & clear my name. Dux is course trying to spread lies and in suing doing is making himself a legal target for the law suit. And perhaps an ass kicking...

Continue Reading for full details:
This is Funny, after I explained to Dux that his lies are an attempt at a smoke screen for him wanting to send in Steven Day to fight for him, at Don Roley's seminar to attempt to undermine Grandmaster Miskel's leadership and cause division within the BDFS... And explained I wrote all that concerning my DD 214 and background for the Blog's Readers and not for Dux. So now he is changing his story to claim that I "now want to kill" Roley & his family...

Now you can tell how serious I take all this, if anything should happen to Roley or his family that any blame will fall back on myself & Dux. I don't much care as Don is a pussy and claimed I was threatening his family to hide behind his wife's skirts... Same shit Barron and MRaymond Locktoolz tried to pull in Florida which lead to the whole Paper Tigers & Ducking Dragons series of blogs. Here is an important point, I point out to Dux that, he is worried about the Street Beef's fight I have with MixedMartialArts.com's Icy Mike... That is I show up and lose and gain some small batch of respect from the MMA crowd, I will have accomplished  more then Frank Dux... And I tell Dux, that he is piling on too much shit because his claims are implicating him in criminal activity.

Like I said about Don Roley & his family, if anything should happen to them, Dux & I, will be the first suspects. Once again, I protecting Roley & the BDFS by extension from the insanity that is Dux. Thus, my hypothetical comments about "burning down Roley's house." It wasn't technically a threat but, it would be enough to make Roley fear for himself and his family, Dux is of course following them to have things to use to attack me and in so doing he is "digging himself a grave..." proverbially speaking. The rest is me  making a few blind jabs about Dux's blind eye after I just explained to Dux what a cuckold was and why I call him one.
The rest is more of Dux's mindless threats & stating that if I show up to Street Beefs I will be defeated in seconds & claims he will report that I am not taking my medication. Obviously a threat to attempt to have me in fear of being falsely arrested...
This is my reply, I suggest anyone Read it and Don Roley get a copy of it... I explained to Dux he has started off denying the fact he sent BDFS people to Don Roley's event. That he then has gone to admitting it. That he has then again changed his story to now say that I wanted him to kill Don Roley & that he thought I was going to go to Colorado to kill Don Roley and his family were he now denies wanting any involvement, tried to create a division between us so that he would not be implicated but, was apparently still going to allow me to harm an innocent woman and her children... This is madness!

Bat shit crazy, childishness and dementia... However, I leave this with two things...
1. Is my comment to Dux "As for Street Beefs, if you feeling froggie... jump. We can have something set up just for us. Blinky? I will win or lose based on my own merit and my own skills. I am stepping to prove myself in a fight. Which you have never done. You know for a Former World Champion in a Secret Fighting Tournament like the Kumite, why didn't you ever compete in Open Full Contact Karate, Kickboxing, Sport Jujitsu or Judo? Why didn't  YOU win any of those events?"
2. August 26th 2017 we will be seeing me fight. There will be more video, pictures and such featured on this blog to support this event. Hopefully, Dux is a liar and fraud. But, look at his de-tractors like Phil Emore, Don Roley & Barron Shepherd who would rather try to entrap me with stupid rules then come out and fight me. They are defending Dux sending people to Don Roley's event & lying for him, while Dux is fueling and spreading their lies. So what can take from all this..?
Those who can do & those who can't get online and bitch about it...

Street Versus Ring: Why Sport Fighting isn't the advantage You Think it is...

Martial Arts blogs and forums are full of tough "cage fighters" telling us lowly traditionalist & self-defense trained types how superior they are because they train for the real thing. The sad truth is they aren't training for the real thing... They aren't training anywhere close to the real thing. Why? Because wear gloves, a mouth guard and thai shorts isn't logical.
Here is part of why:
1. You work at McDonald's you have black pants, non-slip shoes (slip more then my hiking boots, combat boots, sneakers or running shoes) and a very cheap thin shirt. You get attacked in the parking lot leaving work by a someone who sneaks up on you and hits over the head with an empty beer bottle, steals your wallet and kicks you a few times before running off (they might make it 100ft before they stop to catch their breath but you ain't running after them).

2. You work in an office, wearing dress shoes and suit. You get held up at a Go-Mart on your way home because you stayed late to work on a project and now are being robbed as part of an armed gas station robbery.

3. You work as an assistant and are wearing a uniform that includes a shirt, short dress and high heels. Now two young men are cornering you at your car in a parking lot.

The cage is as far removed from "the street" as is a bunch a kids bowing and yelling kiai every time they punch the air with a classical reverse punch, bring one arm to the hip palms up and the other shoots out at shoulder level palms down. The clothing is different...

In the Cage you are fighting for pride, experience and several other reasons. A lot of your training is about developing physical and technical prowess. In the Street you can also fight for pride (number one reason most people get into fights) but there are other reasons. However, no one ever gets to be a rich and famous "street fighter" except in Van Damm movies. Believe me I tried my share of "street fighting tournaments" as a dumb kid (15 & 16 years old) and I never got rich off the things. I got to experience pain & carry bruises, scrapes & cats as trophies.
The thing is you have to understand martial arts, 1. Martial Arts is a Business and Businesses exist to make money and 2. Martial Arts are about selling you something you want. I can give you the lessons on how to fix a car and the tools to fix a car but you will never fix the car unless you get up and use it, to fix the car. That car is a metaphor for yourself... I can give you to tools to better yourself but you have to get up and use them. This is why martial arts or even parents can't teach Self-Discipline, they can teach discipline and child must choose to exercise that discipline on their own and then (and only then) does it become Self-Discipline.

In the Cage you know your opponent is there, right in front of you and you know that they are trained. You may have even watched them, in pervious videos of the previous fights. While I agree to some extent that as sport fighters have certain advantages, I don't think it is the all round proof of skill the sportsman want to make it out to be. Look I was trained for combat, US Army Infantry School and comparing my training to that of a range marksman, paint baller or airsofter is a laugh. I'm not even talking about the job, I'm talking about the training... Why?

Because when you train for combat, you are training for a situation without rules &, there are no rules in the street. Well even an MMA fighters can eye gouge and "kick people in the cherries." Yes, I agree however, that isn't what it means to say there are no rules. No rules means anything goes, weapons, ambush tactics, burning your house down or shooting you in the face. It can also mean planting drugs in you car through a slightly open window to let out some of the summer heat and calling the police on you to get you arrested. It can mean attacking your spouse or children, elderly parents or even killing you pet to make you worry about protecting your loved ones. Literally, it means ANYTHING GOES.

So when a cage fighter once challenged me over a forum and invited me to come to his gym to engage him. I made a realistic offer, to have him sign and send me a waiver saying he wasn't goin bring charges or "in anyway find me criminally or civilly responsible for an injuries or death, and that he understood that allowing me to attack him without rules or restrictions meant that I could use whatever method or tools, weapons or items I deemed necessary to create a realistic life threatening self-defense situation." That ended up with him, crying foul and saying I was threatening him... Why? Because most people online are mentally weaklings trying to look tough.

The reality is that a Street Fight is not the same as a Cage Fight, not even close. In Street Focus Jujitsu I broke down altercations into three types: A Fight, A Self-Defense Situation & a Street Fight. To get students to understand that situations are different but can turn in different situations by means of escalation or de-escalation of events. These three types of events are simple to understand;
A Fight: Is a mutual intention to fight another person without the intent to seriously harm or kill said opponent. This can range from a fist fight with a bully trying to gain social dominance to a Cage Fight. It is a mutually agreed on contest via altercation.
A Self-Defense Situation: Is a situation in which violence or the threat of violence is used to gain something, this can be money, jewelry or even one's own physical body. A person who doesn't want to fight has to do so for self-defense. Many of the solutions for such a situation are verbal de-escalation and breaking contact more then "kill the enemy."
A Street Fight: Is a Mutual intention to Kill, Cripple or Maim the opponent. It is best described as Combat. This is an example of gang violence where drive by shootings, home invasion, arson with the intent to murder and so on are common examples of a true "no rules" scenario.

So when I say the Ring doesn't prepare you for the Street. I literally mean, nothing in your ability to submit, choke out or knock out an opponent in a cage prepares you for a home invasion, someone to firebomb your house, shoot you or attack your family. I'm sorry, but it means you are not qualified to Street Fight because you are trained in the cage. Sure, being a better fighter might give you an advantage in a bar room brawl, at least until someone stabs you in the neck with a broken beer bottle or just stabs you with their knife.

So it doesn't matter what you study for fighting, you need to know what tools are needed for what jobs. I'm not bashing on Sport Martial Arts they all have their place and have certain advantages and disadvantages. Better physical conditioning and being able to apply techniques against someone trained to resist those techniques is a huge boost that is very much needed as part of realistic training. However, to be a complete martial artists you need more then just that...

The reality is most of the people online talking about martial arts either are trying to sell you a martial arts course, book or class and are trying to argue their bias against it. Or they are trying to bash on other arts or systems. Or, they are trying to paint unrealistic scenarios. Where every altercation is between two people with the intent to engage each other and don't get dirtier then eye gouges and nut shots.

In reality you need much more then most or any martial arts will provide for you. The skills of fighting in the Cage or on the Mats are honestly a safer bet then the "kill or be killed" techniques of traditional systems, for legal self-defense.

For example the Juji Gatame (cross arm bar) of Judo, Sport Jujitsu or its ugly step child Brazilian Jujitsu is basically the same as one would see in Japanese Jujitsu. The difference in intentions means a Japanese Jujitsu practicer might just as well break the arm outright, where as a Submission Sports Grappler may only hold an attacker in place with the same technique. This is a huge bonus on court if one finds one's self in court because of civil suit or criminal proceedings. After all you will apply a technique with the intent it is taught... so by training in both "kill or be killed" combat applications and in less then lethal intended competition applications a martial artist can be well rounded.

Neither is going to help you against the next DC Sniper, a gunman in  club, a punk gang banger with a gun in a stolen car or being ambushed by a hatchet wielding terrorist. To train for the street means to go beyond martial arts as an unarmed style of competition, apply fundamental weapons, first-aid, survival training and some form of firearms training. To study elements of psychology and sociology to de-escalate and control situations in a social setting. The Ring is a great place to train and offers many more virtues then I've mentioned here but, it is no where near as close to the Street as a kid's Tae Kwon Do class.

Martial Arts Outside the Dojo

Anyone who has ever sparred or fought using traditional jujitsu, judo or aikido knows that many times in the heat of the moment a sudden or wild punch can stop a throw or joint lock application dead. There us a huge gap between sparring and the real world where anything goes but there is an even bigger gap between application in the dojo and application in the fight. Once you start sparring techniques often become less "pretty" and more direct. We can look at MMA and see how the technical skills of jujitsu or even BJJ look more like wrestling in the heat of the moment.

Here a wrist lock is applied in response to a throat grab...

In the Dojo, I could force a non-resisting opponent to the ground but in the real world outside the dojo and practice drills...

I am forced duck a wild swing or take it on the chin, now my duck also doubles as an ineffective head butt and the arm is still leveraged to off balance and throw the attacker.

Rather then wrestle over the joint lock, and falling into a series of counters on each other. I abandon the joint-lock and move directly into striking techniques.

Driving a elbow into the solar plexus & xyphoid process region of the body to before breaking contact.

Granted all this was choreographed for a photo shoot (we are professional actors or posers or whatever), it was all about highlighting the "flow" of a real fight. Sparring doesn't solve every problem to learning martial arts & being prepared for self-defense, some techniques are too hazardous to use like eye gouges, ear slaps, throat strikes and groin strikes/grabs. The fact is boxing is a great a beginning point because it allows one to develop timing, ability and accuracy of strikes. The same jab that delivers a fist to the nose can also deliver a spear hand to opponent's eye or upper cut to the chin can also deliver a palm heel to an opponent's chin.

This is why boxing was something I was encouraged to study from Danny (who boxed and trained in Karate, Judo & Jujitsu under the late Master Tracy Cook) & as an outlaw biker he had more experience then most of the karateka who out ranked him in martial arts. Boxing was also encouraged by Master Cook. But, it comes with a understanding that while competition and sports might help develop basic abilities like foot work, timing, speed, precision & endurance those elements go out the window in a rapidly changing and often hostile environment. The black top we shot the pictures on is unforgiving and would scrape and cut us if the fight went to the ground.

Martial arts that spar or compete often have students who are better suited to survive a self-defense situation due to those basic abilities like foot work, timing, speed, precision & endurance. Where as the self-defense combatives & "too deadly to spar" group might survive a self-defense situation due to the use of techniques that are meant to result in serious injury, self-defense tactics or (in the case of reality based self-defense) a development of instinctual responses based on simulated self-defense training. Some martial arts schools are social clubs for yuppies and little kids, which are completely useless outside the Dojo except for the social connections and teaching social skills which has nothing to do with a self-defense situation.

Today most people concerned with self-defense seek to abandon the value of competition styles for the self-defense arts seeking to short the traditional arts. Traditional arts (whether they have a competition element or not) often seek the build the same basic abilities as the competition arts but do so over a period teaching different elements of self-defense gradually. Many people often seek to train in different martial arts to get the various elements from these different types of martial arts.

I have often said I am a street fighter first and foremost, anything goes and anything that will get the job done is something I look at and adapt to. Like many self-defense instructors I am oppose to the US Army's focuses on competition arts and the removal of the more potentially lethal techniques. However, I also understand the changing landscape of warfare, think all that ground fighting is a bad idea try sparring  with people shooting paintball guns at targets while you fight it out. Ah yeah... easier not to get shot on the ground, doesn't make ground fighting better for the reasons I highlighted above. Ultimately, I chose to modify my way thinking to break down and embrace the core factors behind each of these generalizations thus creating the Street Focus Jujitsu system to do just that.
