Christmas is almost upon us, and many people are looking forward to the presents and family. Much like my Jewish friends, I don't celebrate Christmas. Christmas is actually the "Christianized" Pagan holiday, the Winter Solstice.
Jesus was actually an Israelite Jew and he was born on the Jewish New Years (this was the time when censuses were taken and it recalled everyone to their hometowns) which is why Mary and Joseph were going to Bethlehem. The Jewish new year is September or October.
Regardless of Pagan symbolism or when Jesus was born... The odea of the Holiday is not simply Christian but American. It is a national holiday, an American holiday. It doesn't matter of you are a Christian or not, as an American you can celebrate this holiday with your fellow Americans thinking not of Santa Claus or Jesus Christ but of George Washington crossing the Delaware River on Christmas Eve in the dead of Winter during a snow storm at night to surprise Bristish Soldiers and help secure a supposedly free society for is to enjoy. It is a time to enjoy being with friends and family...
So Happy Christmas & have a Merry New Year.

Motivation: Why I am happy with a "Jacked" up Life & you aren't with a perfect life...
To say I am perfectly happy is a lie and this is meant to be an "honest blog post." No one is perfectly happy. However, I am generally happy with my life... Nothing is perfect and my life has had many tragic moments, being falsely arrested, harassed by the police and having people like Don Roley, Barron Shepherd and Phil Elmore trying so very hard to slander my name. Doesn't make it any easier when the local media whores will post stories of what you are accused of but won't post stories about the charges being dismissed or that the police and prosecutor lied...
Let me show you only two pieces of evidence, one a secret recording of a pretrial motions hearing where the Assistant Prosecutor Pat Lamp says they don't have any evidence I possessed Child Porn (the police never turned it in,ever) and that there is no mention of a Second Search Warrant mentioned on the Arrest Warrant. The second piece of evidence is the Arrest Warrant, which was never turned in as part of discovery. Discovery I never got by the way.
So why would Pat Lamp lie to Judge Kirkpatrick?
Why would the second search warrant be an issue that needs to be lied about?
The answers may shock you... Add to that the arresting officers never once turned over any discovery, even though the warrant says they had copies of the evidence. Why is that?
Piece of Evidence 1:

Now my life is not normal and sad truth is I don't know what to do with a normal life. I have lived through things that make for great movies and well, they don't make for good lives. Still I am happy...
See it is always funny watching people, attack you because they feel threatened. With all the chaos and tragedy I have this fantastic list of friends in my life, people who saw everything I went through. I have a beautiful girl friend who has a family full of people trying to come between us and who hasn't lost faith in me. More importantly, she never lost faith herself or her dreams. She never lost faith in me and a lot of people talk shit behind our backs or to our faces if they are feeling brave. She gets mean when people talk trash about us being togather.
Thing is, God blessed me to know some truly great people, to have truly great friends and associates. My life os full of complexity, chaos and challenges. Yet, here I stand (actually sitting but you understand my metaphor). My life is complicated but full of adventure and challenges. As much as certain people hate me, they also want to be me... Which is part of why they hate me.
See its easy to stay motivated and press on. Don't focus on the mistakes, the failures and the critics. Instead learn from your mistakes, look at your successes minors victories that built up to your failures and ignore the critics. Critics are either people whose lives are so miserable they want to see others miserable or they people who gave up, focused on their failures and mistakes. The worst critic you will ever face is yourself, you can't lie to yourself no matter hiw hard you try... And, you have to live with yourself regardless.
See life has beat me down, broken me a few times and its so easy to just give up and surrender. Say its too hard and quit. But, what if you can't? What if you've learned to enjoy the suck and thrive on the pain. See it is the scares that make life interesting. It is the challenges and each successful victory that leads you to developing yourself. With challenges life is just too easy and you never know how good, strong or compassionate you was if you've never been tempted to do wrong, had your strengths tested or been beaten to the point that you know real hatred and let that all go forgiving your enemies and no longer counting them as enemies.
After a while, you look at yourself and see in yourself what others see or saw in you all along. After a while, the sword no longer hates the forge that took it from raw iron to hardened steel. It craves the forge, the heat, the pressure and the hammer that made it what it was.
This is why rank is a joke to me... Being grandmasters or supreme great grand guru pubha in a martial art doesn't mean you know anything. At some point, you have to apply the martial arts to life and, this is just more then how you hit someone but how you deal with challenges and how you deal with life.
I am no teacher of mystical secrets and no wise master who spent years meditating on the secrets of the universe. I am just some guy who lived an extraordinary life and contributes much of my survival to the lessons martial arts gave me. You see "Happy" is a mind set, its knowing I had suffered worse and am thankful for the small blessings & small victories...

Nagare Vs Kata: What are they & Why they exist...
Omoto Ryu Jujitsu has two ways of practicing techniques, well three if we include Shiai or Randori but, I will get to that later on.
Nagare means flow or current, it is a free form exercise where students flow between elemental strategies and styles of fighting. It is not limited to grappling or striking it is a an exercise in give and take. The Uke attacks and the Tori defends, ultimately "winning" the exchange. The Tori then becomes the uke and attacks with the former uke becoming the Tori.
This allows a practicers to apply the cycle of the five elements to attack and defense. For example, Bob attacks by using the Wood or Void strategy of feinting a punch to the face, Kata Tsuki as uke. Bill counters by using the Metal or Air strategy by stepping back to avoid the strike as Tori and delivering a low stop kick to Bob's knee. Bob now acting as Tori, with Bill as the uke, uses the Earth strategy of defense by taking up a fighting stance and waiting for Bill to attack. Bill moves forward to enter striking range and Bob responds with an Ashi Tai Tsuki as a step hit, meeting the threat head on as per Earth strategy. Bill then assuming the role of Tori counters by executing a Judan Uke into a Ura Ippon Nage, applying the water strategy. Bob, likewise applies the Water strategy reversing the Ura Ippon Nage into a Ude Gatame... And on and on it goes.
Nagare os always about flowing from one technique and tactic to the next. Nagare is also characterized by drills like Nagate-Te or flowing hands. Flowing hands is similar to the trapping found Jeet Kune Do or Wing Chun. Nagare- Te has three particular drills, drill one uses the back of the hand or forearm to practice redirecting an opponent's energy (this is done to in an "Aikido like" way) from the blocking motion, the second drill is similar to sticky hands in Wing Chun where one person (the Uke) practices striking at vital targets while another (Tori) practices blocking and redirecting the uke's strikes and the third drill aims as including joint locks and throws from the first two drills.
This is very similar but still different than the Kata practiced in Jujitsu. Kata refers to the application of techniques against a none resisting opponent. This can some times and especially at higher levels of training where strikes to vital areas are included with the application of various techniques. The Kata for many throws and joint locks does involve opening strikes to injure and open up the opponent for such grappling techniques, as well as strikes to vital areas to end the encounter once the joint lock os executed.
Now I have to stress something, classical jujitsu joint locks are not locks but breaks. They are intended to be executed with explosive power and dealing pain or injury from an opening strike, followed by a disabling break or joint destruction and ending with a follow up strike to a vital area that is intended to Kill, Cripple or Maim an enemy in battle.
This is only half of the conditioning of the mind and reflexes of the student. Because this brings up the third form of conditioning and practicing techniques. This third, form Shiai (contest) or Randori (sparring) is the application of techniques against a resisting opponent. Shiai means contest and it is the old term that duels were fought under. Shiai were little more then "street fights" without many, if any, rules. The term Randori comes from Judo to name competition fighting events with rules and limited application of techniques. This made competition safer and allowed students of judo to gain a much higher level of experience using their art without fear or risk of injury...
Omoto Ryu Jujitsu has likewise, adopted this type of free sparring. In addition Omoto Ryu also uses a series of Randori drills. Theae drills include sparring multiple opponents, as well as, other psychological conditioning drills used to strengthen the mind as well as the body.
This sets the stage for something I need to address about facing more then one opponent in a self-defense situation. There is a fallacy in martial arts that because many traditional systems are designed to face multiple opponents they are able to do so. This is a problem in thinking. These arts were designed for use on the battlefield and so in facing multiple opponents (which was a strong possibility) they do have training included in the traditional systems.
The thing is a master level fighter maybe able to defeat multiple opponents of lesser skill and ability, however not all of one's opponents will be of lesser skill and ability. This goes into the self-defense fantasy that all criminals are stupid, lazy and have no training or that one's own training some how gives one a greater advantage then the "average person" while martial arts often sell the fantasy of being an "elite fighter" to sell classes they often don't produce the level of skill they advertise and don't make a martial artist an "unstoppable killing machine" like you see in Hollywood movies.
In the real world if you are fighting one person, you will likely get hit & if you are fighting multiple people you definitely will get hit. Sparring multiple opponents, as well as the kata or nagare of such, may not make you the Hollywood martial arts killing machine but it will give you tactics and teach you what works and what doesn't. It will also teach you to take a punch and to understand the chaos of facing multiple people at once. Simply because it teaches you tactics and techniques does mean the art can promise success. That comes with one thing no art can teach, heart...

Points of View
One of the strangest aspects of being me is the craziness that is simply my life. There are many rumors about me and the truth is stranger then fiction. There are things about me, pain I have suffered and things I've done that would scare you and other things that are going to make you say what the fuck...
I am by no means a perfect person, though I could easily say I am misunderstood. See if you knew me &, very few do, you would be surprised who I am. I won't tell you who I am but, I will tell something about me.
I am a bit of a joker and, among my many, many nicknames, I've been called an adventurer and a cowboy. I love to push the envelope and test my limits. I even get a good laugh about the online martial arts community...
Don't think that when I post blogs like When You Have No Penis that I am completely serious. Oh there is some very serious aspects to it but, at the same time don't be surprised (or may be you should be) to know that I am often typing these things and getting a good laugh out of it.
See I am not the villain people claim I am, nor am an angel either. I have lied and I do lie still but, not in the ways people expect. I do things for one of three reasons because I have to, because I think it's right or because I get some enjoyment out of it.
I do get some enjoyment out of pointing out the flaws and failures of my cyber-stalkers and haters. I find it, entertaining that people who see themselves as experts like Don Roley (who I stumped with a picture of Fujita Seiko) and Barron Shepherd who backed out of 3 challenges that were all documented but wants to claim I am scared of him because I can't a physical from the VA before December 3rd. It entertains me how much effort is put into trying to slander my name and prevent me from rebuilding my business.
You see the best people I have ever met where teachers. Not just martial arts instructors but, even a few teachers who inspired me in high school. The best leaders I had in the Army were also teachers and mentors. They didn't just lead by example but, actually took the time to educate & challenge you to be better.
I loved teaching because, I as experienced life the academic studies of martial arts didn't stay something I learned but, something I lived. Many times I had to practice the zen concept of detachment because I have lost much, at one point I lost everything. Many people would either give up and become what life tries to make you become. Other people want to try to define you by what they or others want to believe. Like those I have mentioned earlier in this blog. I have had to learn to suffer the shame of such defamation & accept that have their will be thosr with own preconceive notions because of it. Do I blame them for such? Well thats a complicated answer...
You see people will never understand things unless they experience them. The experience of false accusations and seeing those who want to use them and lie about it as if what they know are lies is the truth, makes for a real interesting observation or two. Firstly, people who don't like you will try make others not like you and will use what they know are lies for that end playing them off as truth. Secondly, those who want to feel superior want do everything they can do to make others think they are superior to you. Sadly, they often feel inferior to you and want you to feel the same way. Fuck'em they don't matter...
You see one of the most interesting observations I have ever made, has come from how people project their negative traits onto others. Have you ever seen a sex offender beat up another sex offender trying to convince other sex offenders they aren't a sex offender? I have... Its pretty funny actually.
In fact, I find it so interesting that people who have so much that I don't wife, kids, great jobs and better homes are so concerned with spreading lies and defamation. You see what they hate in me is a reflection of what they hate in themselves. So much that they aren't thankful for what they have.
Don Roley's obsession with frauds is easily linked to Hatsumi's reputation in Japan. Hatsumi is only considered legitimate by Westerners who lack the ability to reseatch Japanese historical documents. Or Japanese researchers who have.
Phil Elmore's obsession with self-defense, weapons and fighting unfairly is obviously linked to being bullied and wanting to feel powerful. Much the same with Phil's lacky Patrick Ferrari. Ultimately, ots a sign of how powerless he feels.
Barron well... Barron Shepherd has issues with self-esteem which is why he is always trying to fit in, gain support and look tough. He wants respect but, doesn't realize those tokens of success belt ranks and so on mean nothing. They don't give you respectability.
Thus, the concern with fraudulent instructors. Thus the slander and lies because they project their own weaknesses on to me. Because they see those same weaknesses in me, they see in themselves. The thing is, at 36 I have outgrown them. I have lived the hardships and survived.
Unlike them, I can say "I did this..." and we've all seen it. They are quick to point out I was charged with making Terroristic Threats, and it was dismissed. We all know I have at least held a gun (which is illegal if I were a prohibited person) that I actually own, we all know I have survived incarceration surrounded by the very criminals most people fear. My life is far from normal and we all know it... It is sadly closer to a bad 80s action movie. And that is what they want, the adventure of having done something great.
The respect they think it gives them... But, do you know the respect it has gotten me? Do you know what it is like to have lies thrown in your face as if it is truth? Or to live in fear of the police who are there to allegedly protect you?
You see they are all missing a single point of reference... Experience. There is a movie called the 36 chambers of the Shaolin and in the movie the 36 chamber, where the Shaolin goes after he gets his brands is the real world. Because at some point training ends and living begins. What happens when you pass basic training in the Military (any branch of service) is that you go do your job and serve in the military. You live the military life style.
Those who use teaching and writing about martial arts for selfish motivations will never understand that at some point training ends. When Omoto Kioshi, awarded me my Godan, he told me "I have given you a gift, the gift of knowledge and what you do with that gift is up to you. " (or there abouts thats how I remember it). What happens after you become a "master" is the real question?
Nothing, you have completed training... Its a bit like being an adult, in more primitive cultures there is a "test" of manhood. Even then, once you've passed this test, then what? Even animals reach a point they drive out their young to find a place in the world. No master is so great, no guru so wise, that grown adults must wait on them with baited breath to express wisdom they cannot understand unless they experience life... Having experienced life and having outgrown the flaws they project onto me I don't hate these men. I pity them.
Ultimately, I will sue them and I will win. A few "jabs" taken with a much more lightened heart. A heart that has been lightened with the acceptance of pain and suffering is what drives me to my little jabs. You see there is no greater insult to those who project themselves onto you, then to see you win. Because ot si seeing someone with the same flaws as you surpass you.
You see freeing yourself of hatred and anger means acceptance of who you are both good and bad. It means not resenting in others the flaws you see in yourself.
Now if you want to know, why I am going to sue them. Because, 1. It is simply an obstacle to overcome (the defamation) to get what I want. This cam only be done one way realistically 2. There is a way to do this and well, it must be done via a lawsuit to have the effect I want. 3. It will destory the illusions of themselves they cling to and perhaps it might allow them to grow as it has me. Ultimately, that is something only time will tell us.
If you want respect, show it...
If you want love, give it...
If you want acceptance, accept others without conditions...
If you want enemies, attack them but don't cry when they fight back...
You see another reason for such venom from this group and others like them is fear. Yes, they are afraid of me. Not of what I can do but of what I am doing already. I am standing up to them and doing so without support. They are quick to point out Frank Dux, no longer supports me. Yet, here I stand without the Black Dragon Fighting Society and without one of our biggest names Frank Dux... Alone.
If I can do it, others can as well and we have all seen where others who aren't in the BDFS or Dux Ryu have contacted me and stood beside with stories of these people as bullies and how they have tried to disrupt their businesses as well.
You see win or lose it doesn't matter, as long as you stand up. That's what all the fuss over and fuss over the video from Lexington is other... Don Roley wants to prove I didn't stand up to him, that I "backed down." Yet, my withdrawn as a strategic decision.
Course, standing up doesn't mean walking into an obvious trap and just because you pull a tactical withdraw doesn't mean you surrender the war. Course maybe now I am the one projecting... Projecting my own intellect and deviously clever strategic mindset onto Don Roley.
But this is all my rambling on different points of view.

When you know you are Winning...
Nothing says success like, the crying of internet trolls... I think I can hear the sobbing now, or maybe its the lack of oxygen from laughing so hard... This will be a short post.
So the administrator of Ron Collins Facts who I believe is Donald James Roley... The "researcher" I showed didn't know as much about Fujita Seiko was me, muchless everyone else on the internet. Sent me these lovely images...
What did they do, stay up all night watching SNL looking at images of men exposing themselves and/or gay porn to make this... (above) Really who has the time and puts in that much effort..?
Well this one (above) is titled Ron's Sword when downloaded it... At least we know its a "Long Sword" and not a "Short Sword" but I think my cyber-stalkers are sporting "boot knives." Oh and the screenshot of e-mail is below... Cause I don't much care what they say, and even though I said they bored me... This got a good laugh out of.
Though none of this is as funny as Don Roley's tears and threats to bring in the FBI... No seriously, because I said I intended to stump him and prove hie does half-ass research, by stating Fujita Seiko was military intelligence in Ninja's are Bull Shit 1 and then dumbfounded him with the Image of what appears to Fujita Seiko in a Military Uniform with the founder of Soke of Shito Ryu Karate and one of its must well known and respected master Iwata Manzo. I even included a link to Jesse Enkamp's Saigo No Ninja blog about Seiko Fujita (he did two more before this linked in blog here) to prove my point. And Jesse Enkamp is someone who has travelled to Japan and Okinawa to study Karate in both countries and travels the world teaching, training and learning karate, as well as researching karate and those involved such as Seiko Fujita who oddly had a hand in shaping most modern Karate Styles.
In fact, even though Fujita Seiko didn't pass on the Soke title to anyone in his ninjutsu style he did teach a few people including Mabani Kenei according to the Mabuni family. Mabani Kenei Soke has taught a handful of people a Kata (allegedly) developed by Fujita Seiko for his recreation of Koga Ryu Wada-Ha Ninjutsu... Now this makes sense as Fujita found Okinawan Karate & Kobudo in many way superior to Japanese martial arts and had a hue influence on modern Karate. Which in turn no doubt had such a huge influence on him & certainly Fujita Seiko wasn't Xenophobic person some "researchers" have made him out to be...
Now this goes back to the claims of George Sosa, Sr. who claims he was taught this Kata and other elements of Koga Ryu Ninjutsu from Mabani Kenei. Now this is important well... These people have trained in Koga Ryu Ninjutsu (or claim to) in Japan and pictures of themselves in Japan (in the video). Now I don't know these people, nor do I stand by any of this as indisputable facts but, if one is doing "real research" on Fujita Seiko and their concern is with real information, I would the Manbani family would be the best place to start.
Oh and before I forget here is the insane rant of Don Roley claiming he can prove "intent" of what I don't know... Which got a good laugh out of and after the e-mail from Ron Collins Facts, which got a good laugh out of me. You boys are awesome, you are making my day and I took a whole 30 minutes out my day to post this, just to tell you... "Good work and oh Don, as an "ex-mental patient" who "has never touched a girl" (your mom doesn't count, I was drunk and thought she was a man; with that beard thicker then mine and I only shook her hand) who is also a "fraud," the fact that I am claiming to have known about the Fujita Seiko connection to Shito Ryu back in 2010 (ask Johnny Hunter about that one) a whole 6 years before I brought to your attention is irrelevant. The fact that Jesse Enkamp's blog article is from 2010 shows that the information has been online for six years before I proved you know just a little bit less then me and a lot more "then everyone else online" about Fujita Seiko...
That means, you do half ass research that only goes so far as to substantiate your claims and that is why YOU WILL NOT POST THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE TEXT to substantiate what you say the original text claims as facts.

On the Five Elements of Martial Arts and Strategy.
On the five elements, people might have a dominant element which expresses their personality. Mine is air but I often cycle between different elements, as modes of emotional and intellectual processing of information from my environment relayed through my senses and codified by my brain. The five elements principle is basically one of describing energy. Energy is neither created or destroyed it simply changes forms.
My experience with life in general and my observations of others, allows me to see patterns and develop them into other patterns I want to bring about the final result in the pattern of events. You gain this level of insightful acting based on planned responses by simply watching, observing and listening to events in other people's lives. Certain characteristics appear and reappear... If you are observant.
And meditating on the cause and effect. The elements, only provides the gross reference points like stars in the night sky. You use them as fixed point to observe the world around you. In this way it is the most basic and natural of interactions and progressions that can be applied.
This is first demonstrated in the Five Element Kata. It is then expanded by personality types and attitudes. Even then, if one were to study Sun Bin, Sun Tzu's protégé who wrote a second Art of War. The five elements of Taoist Alchemy also produces 5 types of soldiers and 5 strategies for using these types of soldiers.
We will discuss these here...
Wood is the Chinese equivalent of Void. This is the Spy or Scout who is the eyes and ears of the army and dagger in the back when need be. Wood os characterized as a seed which grows into a tree which produces more seeds and becomes a forest over time. A slow and continual expansion of energy.
Fire is the Officers who maintain discipline and moral of the Warriors who work togather in bands or companies. The Officer is characterized by the sword and represents a slowly compressing energy, that burns at the edges ans wears the enemy down or forges a hardened team.
Earth is the Warrior, who is characterized by Spear. This energy stands firm and meets resistance with resistance. This is. A stable energy that does not act unless acted on.
Metal is the Chinese equivalent of Air or Wind. Wind is characterized by the crossbow and later the bow and Archers who acted as a kind of medieval artillery covering the withdraw of Infantry (the Warriors). This is an evasive energy which attacks by withdrawing.
Water is characterized by the Chariot and later the horse representing the mounted Archer on Horse back. Water is characterized by a flowing and around energy. As chariots or mounted archers would race around the clashing infantry trying to target officers leading the soldiers.
If you understand this, you understand the basic idea of how such Armies were ordered for battle.
Scouts and Spies, provided security for Armies on the March. They also provided for Strategic Operations to delay or hamper the enemy from reacting quickly or effectively. Example, Scouts may observe an enemy activity and spies may report on enemy movement and plans but, to delay an enemy force from meeting and delaying one's own probing forces which would come in to seperate the "vanguard" from the supporting forces. The scouts can act as Skirmish forces (commando units) to ambush these enemy reinforcements or they can simply burn down a bridge and drop a few trees onto the road to form a barrier. Likewise, spies can be called on to do the same. These are not frontline soldiers or "elite shock troops" but, small strategically applied forces. And yes, this is where the physical stealth and hiding skills that os part of the full scope of ninjitsu is focused.
Officers do the planning either tactically in the charge of smaller forces or strategically over who military campaigns. An officer might lead frontline forces or scouts gathering and compiling intelligence. Since at the time the ruling class was the military class, officers also engaged in politics and matters of governance. Such men were well educated and would have been trained in disguise, able to impersonate priests, tradesmen and so on. They would have specialized in gathering information from conversations in court or during negotiations.
The Common Soldier would provide a greater function as a defenisive force posting security for camps and castles, or keeping the peace in times of piece. In battle, the common footman would defend the archers who would inflict the most damage by bombarding enemy forces with arrows.
It was many times, not uncommon for samurai commanders to choose to engage their enemy in a forest. The mountains and forests of the Iga & Koga areas of Japan for example would make the larger army arrangements impractical allowing for Scout & Skirmish forces to be of greater value. This would also negate the use of mounted archers. The archer could enage the enemy from high ground. This is the place of the Archer and it was common for common ashigaru and samurai of the Iga and Koka areas to ne trained in archery as well as sword and spear, because of the nature of the terrain.
Finally, we will examine the mounted archer or calvery element of the army. On the more open areas like we see the Kishu areas of feudal Japan. Samurai acting as mounted archers could ride around enemy formations firing arrows in to the enemy and seeking to pick off enemy officers as well as inflict enemy casualties of regular soldiers. Mounted Archery draws from the Kamakura period (1100s to 1300s) to the mid 1600s when the Portuguese brought firearms to Japan. More so, Samurai on horse back could bypass the infantry defending the archers and charge the archers directly, with spears impaling more then one at a time.
Even though the weapons have changed with the modernization of technology, the basic principles and strategy of the five elements have now.
Wood/Void: Expansive force slowly breaking out from within...
Fire: A colapsing force slowly consuming from without...
Earth: A strong force reisting outside force by pushing against it the force amd meeting it with equal or greater force.
Wind: An evading force that draws force to act against it and withdraws to disrupt the force directed against it.
Water: A yielding force that overcomes by receiving and redirecting force directed against it.
Wood creates Fire by burning, Fire creates Earth by leaving Ash, Earth reveals metal through digging, Metal produces Water through condensation and Water creates Wood by nourishing it's Seed.
Likewise, Wood is destroyed by Cutting ot with Metal, Wood destroys Earth by breaking through when it grows from within, Earth destroys water when it stagnates because the Water does not flow, Water quenches ffireby smothering, Fire destroys Metal by melting and Metal corrodes with Rust from Water.
Do you understand the five manuvers of forces during warfare yet?
Wood: Subversive Tactics based in Espionage, Sabotage and Assassination.
Fire: Surrounding and Harassing the enemy, laying siege.
Earth: Defending and holding ground.
Metal: Baiting to Ambush.
Water: Flanking the enemy.
The cycle of conflict during war;
Subterfuge breaks a strong defense from within. Laying siege to an enemy prevents their escape and wears them down from without. Strong defenses limit enemy movement and prevent attack. When your key elements are protected and the enemy cannot attack you bait them amd draw them into an ambush. When the enemy baits you to attack you out maneuver them by avoiding the direct route and flanking to cut off their retreat. Allowing the enemy to retreat & using the chaos the plant "seeds" in the form of spies who will sabotage the enemy's defenses from within, while one seeks to lay siege from the outside. And when the enemy attempts to bait one to attack, one simply does not follow (much like how I felt Roley's challenge to challenge him was a set up to have me arrested) but flanks the baiting force with reinforcements instead of one's main force breaking the siege. Likewise, when the enemy leaves an openning to draw one's reinforcements forces out, one holds their ground, even charges head on to meet the enemy to meet force head on with one's own forces.
If this seems wasteful, consider the alternative is to retreat, thinning one's ranks amd run into a secondary flanking force which would cut down one's thinned ranks in retreat amd be caught in what the Western strategists calls a pencer maneuver. So the only way to survive is to reinforce one's front and meet the enemy head on.
By understanding this cycle of maneuver warfare, one has a powerful alternative to a strict set of route maneuvers. Unlike, Western Battle Drills this 5 element, metaphor allows a tactician to understand tactics on the more intuitive level. Which allows for better understanding on a subconscious level. However, it does so at the risk of confusing the conscious mind which is more literal and less intuitive.
A lone martial artist can learn to interpret the fighting style and tactics of his opponent with the 5 Element Kata functioning as a loose set of guidelines, vague suggestions to interpret another's individual combat style. By comparison, a tactician can develop a sense for how the enemy is acting and intuitively counter said action as or before it can be made.
The strategist however, uses one element to create and counter another and plans 10 steps ahead of his opponent knowing that warfare follows certain pattern. This way we, can also look at the ebb and flow of human nature, as well as the human nature of nations. For example because the first act of a nation going against another nation is Wood, the use of spies to infiltrate plant the stages of subversive activity. A nature defend for this is the cutting off of enemy this done by having "spy hunters" or assassins who do nothing but find and kill enemy agents or by turning agents. These turned agents may only pretend to be turned and, thus, must be watched carefully. They can serve one's own ends by supplying their handlers with false information which requires sacrificing men and operations to make the enemy believe they are getting correct advice.
Ultimately, while the individual student may not see the five element kata and five element nagare exercises as going beyond the specifics of jujitsu they relate to a greater understanding of military strategy. Because the individual budoka learns to apply the five elements to fighting techniques at an individual level. They learn to apply it at as a small team and eventually as a larger force. Decisions are intuitive and happen with little to no conscious thought, thus reducing the likelihood of over thinking actions and reactions.
When you have no Penis...
So Philip Carton Elmore using his troll account Martin Blendswell, left a message for me on this blog when I featured the Shadow Warrior Press World War II Combatives Course. No this doesn't actually grant you rank in anything...
Yes... I know Don Roley posted his blog about Fujita Seiko after I stubbed him, on a picture with Fujita Seiko in Ninjas are Bullshit 2.
See Barron wants to play games and, I am not going to waste time and money casing Barron when he will be named in a lawsuit along with Don Roley, Phil Elmore and Patrick Ferrari for slander and defamation. Barron's wife says he is suffering from a pituitary gland dysfunction which makes him mentally amd emotionally unstable.
What's funny is that Barron Shepherd posted a screen shot of a message from Edsunstable, saying I wasn't gonna fight. Now as far as I cam tell, Edson didn't relay everything I told him and Barron has taking to adding far more to the story. Here is what I told Edson.
As you can see I was the one messaging Edson to fight BarrEdsoI was on that shit at first and well... I explained I was floating because I am pretty much up in the air with other responsibilities and, didn't want to commit to anything and have to back out later. I was also asking about everything he needed from me to fight Barron...
Here I state the VA couldn't get me in before December 3rd and I had too much on my plate. Fighting Barron isn't a priority for me but suing him is... Though, will be happy to fight him after humiliate him court for his lies.
You see me backing out from fighting Don Roley, to avoid the set up of going to jail... Isn't enough. Barron is hiding behind Don Roley's apron strings and, that isn't enough, he has to make up for not being in Charleston for Ruckus in the Cage (which we all know you did bitch out Barry, because you is a bitch) and he has to make up for backing out of Don Roley's Seminar when I suggested we fight in Lexington... Cause Barron is a puddy tat...
Barron just wants to protend he is a real man... Look tough, but in all reality he is a bitch behind a computer screen. See it's not about how big and bad I am, it is about how corrupt and unethical they are...
Barron wants to play tough. He bitched out. I mean if anyone wants to fight, they don't talk shit online. Myself included, if I was to fight you I will come to your house. Cause yeah...
Don Roley punked me but, I punked Barron. And we can play stupid king of the internet playground rules bullshit... Or I will get my big brother or I will get my friends. And who is the bad ass but, I hit Roley with information he didn't know about Fujita Seiko. Because of his connection to Okinawan Karate and Kobudo, Fujita Seiko is a huge area of study for many Okinawan, Japanese and American Karateka.
I threw Don Roley off his game and showed how little he researched. I put him on display in the comments of Ninjas are Bullshit 2. Don Roley in his own words proved that his research is limited to serve his own personal bias. Thus discrediting himself. SURPRISE DON!!! That was what O wanted to do.
See you have to attack someone were it does the most damage, this os the nature of vital point strikes and clandestine operations &, you could say the Fujita Seiko image, I used to show Don Roley just how little he knows. Was bit of Cyber Dim Mak, Digital Dim Mak if you will, because it is a delayed reaction which will be used to break apart his claims historical research and being a legitimate researcher.
And I am sure some fraudulent instructors might use it to discredit Roley...HINT YA'LL... Problem with not doing proper research and having a very narrow vision is that you overlook things and, Don Roley seems to have overlooked someone else's research from a more modern art. Practiced by many Okinanwans, Japanese and Americans.
If your scope of understanding is all about what reinforces your opinion then you are a delusional ass clown who, can't even do basic web research on an image. When you beat a geek (like Don Roley) with research, it is the equivalent of sodomizing that (Stereotypical Bully Jock) with his game winning football.
See, me and Johnny Hunter knew about the, Shito Ryu connection to Fujita Seiko back in 2010. I also remember telling Johnny I was gonna save that to twist you up in 2010...
You can talk about challenges and stepping up but, in the end its all about bull shit. Only one person has ever legitimately challenged me online and that was Hedgehogey who... If he hadn't come off talking trash and acting like a Punk online I might have met and fought him for the fun of it all. But, he came off like a douche and win or lose he would have liked the fight. So I told him to fuck off... Beating up someone who enjoys the fight isn't exactly punishment though.
Well hedge had some balls but, Barron never showed and I have better things to do then play delusional internet bad ass games and Don Roley is a pencil pusher, he spends his life at a computer in his house talking about history and what he learned in Japan trying to feel superior. Bitch I spent 3 years in Korea because it was easier for me to go to Japan.
All I saw of Japan was Airports, Bars, Restaurants, Stores, Clubs and my Sensei's family. Emily changed her name to fit in more with her Japanese husband. The problem you have is that you ain't a fighter and Don I ain't a Researcher but, I backed out of fighting you because I wouldn't go to jail for you and I beat were it hurts Don... Your research is your pride and joy and I just hit with something you didn't know... But, you know mote then anyone online. And well, Barron is just some mentally unstable guy online that me and Frank Dux pray for. But, you all are a bunch self emasculated frauds and cowards... You bore me. I got better things to do and I still have one up on you bitches...
